This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help our students to enjoy fun forensic labs such as: lip print creation and analysis, fingerprint creation, identification and fingerprint dusting and lifting!

Fun, hands-on activities in complex biological sciences make class accessible to students; engaging them and increasing their learning.

Fingerprinting is a fundamental and key part of forensic science. Allowing students ink pads to collect and identify their own prints, in addition to camel hair brushes to dust for and lift latent prints, helps them to conceptualize the concepts they read about in class.

Did you know that lip prints are unique to individuals, like fingerprints? Lip prints are another interesting piece of trace evidence that forensic scientists often collect and use in their investigations. Students have so much fun collecting their own lip prints and identifying what lip print pattern they have!
