My Students

My students are a fun and creative group of fifth grades. They are active, energetic and full of questions. We are part of a close knit school where many have been together since kindergarten. This helps them grow close but can create a sibling like environment. They come to school each day and both support and challenge each other. We harness their enthusiasm to think deeply and be curious about our world. We work together to make our year full of wonder and joy.

My Project

In an active classroom of fifth-graders, movement and seating choices are essential. Like adults, children need choice in selecting their best learning environment to work and accomplish their tasks. Being able to move their body helps them focus more and get more done.

These Hokki stools are fantastic.

They rock just enough to allow students to move and get a bit of exercise, but not enough to disturb others. We have a few in our classroom already and they are the hot ticket. If these stools are funded, more students will be able to work and wobble away in productive happiness in our classroom. Please consider funding us to get these stools.
