My Students

I teach in a wonderful public school. My students come to school eager and ready to learn. Their love of learning shines daily. They make every day a wonderful adventure.

My school serves a very diverse population.

The school covers grades kindergarten to eighth grade. It is a Title I school in which all students receive free lunch. There are students with many diverse abilities. We have many students who receive ELL and special education services. All of the students come to school every day eager and ready to learn.

My Project

Every child can achieve the impossible if they set their minds to it! My first grade students continually make an effort to improve their learning inside and outside of the classroom. My students have great potential, hidden talents, and strengths. That is why I want to make learning fun for them at school.

Games make life fun.

Students love to play games. Why not boost learning with game play in school? My students love the learning games we use in our classroom. This project will help increase the number of games available for students to play while learning, demonstrating knowledge, and increasing fluency. Playing games help boost confidence in young learners.
