Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarten class is full of life! I have 24 students with 24 different personalities. They are funny, shy, rambunctious, and quiet.

All of them are wonderful in their own ways.

The majority of the students in my classroom come from low socioeconomic status. But this doesn't stop their love of learning! Each day I am excited to see them learn something new or to achieve something they weren't previously able to achieve.

Although they face daily struggles, I am always learning from them the importance of grit, tenacity, and positivity. I might be biased, but I have the best students around! I hope to instill in them the growth mindset that they can achieve any goals that they set for themselves (and more) as long as they always accept the challenge and put in the hard work.

The best part of Teachers Pay Teachers is that all materials are written and developed by teachers for teachers. I am requesting gift cards to help purchase grade-level resources that include activities to help students learn more about racial justice.

I will use the Teacher Pay Teachers gift certificate to purchase interactive and engaging Earth Day lessons for my students. They will receive the knowledge they need to help connect the needs of the Earth and how to protect our finite resources we have on this beautiful blue planet of ours.

Please help me provide my students with lessons to help develop empathy, compassion, and teach them to use their voice to stand up for what is right with our Earth in mind. The resources available on Teachers Pay Teachers are subject-based, grade-level appropriate, current, relevant, and engaging for students. Teachers Pay Teachers has materials that are great resources for teachers to build student knowledge in a different and engaging way.
