This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are excited to learn a new style of dancing. When on stage in front of their family members, school staff and other students they will be wearing their flamenco outfits. When team sports have outfits they feel more confident.
This team dance sport is enjoyed by the dancers as well as the audience.
We practice once or twice a week after school, and our dancers are always eager to attend the class. They enjoy learning new moves and footwork. I am excited to see their faces when they learn they are going to get outfits.
