This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The stools and the floor cushions will help support students with flexible seating. They will be able to move around the room quicker without disruption to their learning or others. The stools will also give my students more room around the small group table for small group instruction.
Seating for all is important!
The office chair will allow me to sit at the small group table to support my learners during small group instruction. I will be able to move around the table and support each student when needed. Having comfortable and accessible furniture in the classroom allows students to focus more on their work.
