My Project

I'm a special educator. My students often require sensory breaks. When our sensory room is occupied by other students, we usually go outside. Our recess area lacks play equipment to engage our students in play skills, gross motor, and social skills. The tricycles and balance beam will help get some energy out and motivate my students to engage in play. The bouncy balls will help teach some of my students to catch and throw a ball. It will also help teach turn-taking skills. With your help, I can make recess and sensory breaks meaningful and fun for my students with autism.
