Help me give my students games and craft supplies to tap into their creativity, have fun, and build relationships in the library at lunchtime.

My Project

Every day, students love spending their lunchtime in the library unwinding and playing games with friends. I've really enjoyed seeing them eagerly take on a new strategy game or learn how to more graciously win or lose at Uno; I'm eager to help them further develop their logical, creative, and interpersonal skills.

These games, craft supplies, and organizational materials will give them exciting new opportunities to learn and grow together.

The strategy and card games will help them develop logic and reasoning skills as well as building their relationships and sense of community. Students will be able to express themselves and create something new with legos, pipe cleaners, or origami. The binders and sheet protectors will organize coloring sheets and activity pages, origami instructions, and diverse book recommendation pages to help them find their next favorite book. The trays and desk organizer will keep the library tidy and organized, and the tape and poster putty will help me make long-lasting labels that make the materials and books easy to navigate and promote students' independence.

I want to make the library a space where every student in the school can thrive and grow as a learner and as a human being. These resources will be instrumental in taking the library to the next level.
