Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We're so excited to spend this summer with our class! We will be getting more time outside and we need help with gathering materials for different fun activites.

What's summer without some tie dying!

For this project we are asking for some tie dye and shirts to tie dye with our students, each child will get to tie dye their own shirt. We are also asking for fabric spray paint so each child can decorate a canvas pencil case.

Last, we would like to introduce printmaking to our class by creating our own classroom logo. We will get to see a teacher carve it on a rubber block, and we will get to use it as a stamp! Each child will get to stamp their tie dye shirt by dipping the rubber stamp in fabric paint and pressing on their shirt. We hope to accomplish this fun creative activity with your help!!
