My Students

It's hard for me to say ONE thing I love about my each of my students. There's just TOO MANY. One of the most contagious things about them is their hunger to learn and constantly expand in the classroom. We grow together. I like to keep my classroom student-centered and give the kiddos the reins to come up with their own creative ideas & concepts. They constantly impress me. Their knowledge for music theory, drive in performance and courage to shine is quite magical.

My Project

I plan on using this rug for learning centers and musical activities. Currently, my rug doesn't cover a lot of space and the kiddos have to sit on the cold floor at times. The theme of this area rug has music phrases, educational music symbols to help them learn and a fun musical theme. I plan on using this rug ALL the time in my class.

I believe environment is EVERYTHING (especially in the learning community).

In my classroom, everything is centered around musical terms and exciting visuals. This rug fits that theme and I'm hopeful to make it happen!
