This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The first day of school is right around the corner! I am anticipating first-day jitters from my incoming kindergarten and first-grade students, and I am sure their families feel that too.

Because of this, I want to ensure that I have what they need to feel at ease and welcomed in their new learning environment.

The Chore Charts will help create a structured routine, encouraging responsibility and organization among my students who require an individualized schedule. Paired with sensory tools like the Sensory Wall Sequin Flip Fabric and Pop Tubes, students can use them to engage in calming sensory activities during breaks, promoting focus and relaxation. The hand2mind Sensory Fidget Tubes further support stress relief and concentration.

These resources, combined with organizational aids like Plastic Folders and Name Tag Stickers, ensure a well-equipped learning environment.
