My Students

My classroom is located in upstate New York. I have 21 students in a general education/resource room/special ed setting. I have several students who receive free and reduce breakfast and lunch. I have 5 or 6 students who are ADHD, 2 students who have IEPs for academic needs, and 2 students who are 12/1/1 who strive for structure and movement. I have a few students who have multiple homes and strive for love and affection.

My students this school year are very kind and giving!

They have been completing a community service project every month! They love working together and every child wants to truly help each other be their best self!

My Project

These materials would be put to great use during inside recess. The winter is long and cold; thus the kids need games to play that are fun and interactive. These games will also help reinforce skills that they learn here at school.

These days kids only interact with each other through a screen, they need to use their problem solving and social skills to play games that are fun and challenging.

This year we do a lot of small group instruction and have amazing resources to use but not the proper storage for our materials. These bins will help with keeping our stuff neat, organized, and easily accessible.
