it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I serve as the Dean of students for grade 6, 7, and 8. We are a Title I school and a portion of the students we serve come from low-income families. It is my priority to serve our students' mental, emotional, and physical needs. Our students require basic school needs in order to be prepared for what the school year has to offer. This is not easy for all of our families.
Our students deserve to be prepared to face a world that is ever-changing.
We want to ensure our students do not have to worry about not having, ensure our students are not experiencing food insecurity, and ensure they're given what is necessary for proper hygiene. We treat our students like they are our own children because we really are a family school.
My Project
As we continue to move through this pandemic, our students need to engage in fun activities to help ease their worry. Through sports and games, our students will be able to have fun during their recess. Students are brought outside to get a break from schoolwork.

Middle school is an important place for students to engage socially and be involved in friendly competitions. These resources allow our students to have fun while enjoying their time with one another.
