it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I will be teaching my third graders some important financial literacy skills with our classroom store. During this, the students will be using "class currency" that they will earn to make purchases: Airheads Candy Bars, Pudding Cups, Nabisco Sweet Treats Cookies, Frito Lay Party Variety Pack, Galaxy Slime, Welch's Fruit Snacks, and fun keychains. These are motivating, real-world money concept rewards that will help students learn about financial literacy.
The idea behind this project is that students learn to budget, save, and make responsible financial decisions in a fun and interactive manner.
The items in our store will provide real-life practice in using their "money" to decide what to buy and when to save. Hands-on learning will make these skills stick and secure future success.
My students are curious, hardworking, and always eager to learn something new. By supporting this project, you will be helping students gain essential financial literacy skills while building enthusiasm for learning.
