My Project

My students are a lively, caring, and eager-to-learn bunch. After COVID, children have a lot of interest in hands-on activities and interactive learning. Class projects like collaborative tie-dye shirts and crystal growing encourage and cultivate growth in a fun way. I still have students talking about (and wearing!) their class shirts from years past. The most impactful learning experiences are usually through meaningful and exciting projects. Many of our students also come from hard-working families struggling to make ends meet. Small things like having a snack can make all the difference in learning to the fullest.
