This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarten students love to use their hands! I am requesting a fun hands-on activity that will help them learn and practice the sight words we are working on. They will love to clip letters to build the words, and it will be good for their fine motor development as well.

My school is located in New England, where we have very cold and snowy winters.

Due to the weather, we are unable to let the children have recess outside, so we have recess in our classroom during the winter months. The magnetic tiles I requested will be a fun and creative activity for the children to work on cooperatively. They are so creative, I can't wait to see what they will create with this set.
