My Project

My kindergarten students walk into the classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them. As are most five-year-olds, my students are full of energy and are very enthusiastic! They are risk-takers and mess-makers!

Help me give my students some healthy snacks!

Research has shown that children are able to learn better when they are well nourished. Eating healthy meals and snacks has been linked to higher grades, better memory, and faster processing skills.

My children love to take a mid afternoon snack break, but many of my students can not afford to bring a snack from home. The cheez-its, fruit snacks, and Rice Krispie treats are some of their favorite treats and I know they will love them! We also need an air tight container to keep our snacks fresh!
