Help me give my students Gatorade, Veggie Straws, Cheez-its, pretzels, and other snacks that will fuel their engagements and serve as motivation and positive reinforcement for our students.
My students are hardworking, inquisitive and creative.
They are eager to learn and very motivated, with goals that we set to better their academic and social skills.
Having a full tummy will give them a greater chance to be their full potential! My students have enjoyed and loved these snacks. They eagerly grab a snack throughout the day, and a few take a snack home at the end of the day. It has been such a blessing to be able to provide this for them.
Every day, throughout the day, my students would grab snacks from our classroom “snack pantry” whenever they feel hungry. Some have snacks from home, but most of them may not. Our snack pantry is getting closer to empty. Snacks can be expensive, and we have bought them mostly from our pockets.
I know that when I have had enough to eat, I work my best. I don't like the fact that some of my students can bring snacks every day and some can't. I also want to give my students the opportunity to take a snack home to have after school too, so this project would do that too!
Food is a necessity and a little boost for their day. Our snacks also serve as motivation and positive reinforcement for our students. They work so hard and at the end of the day, I want them to enjoy a snack or two. The snacks I am asking for are granolas, fruit snacks, chips, cookies.
