My Project

We are a Title I school in a small community that services many EL students. They have been at home for the last 2 years and have not had opportunities to read real books. When they come to school they are hungry from not having breakfast and do not have a snack for recess. This makes it difficult for them to focus on learning.

If I can take care of their basic need of food, then I can help them work on their literacy skills and their love for learning.
