Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year we have noticed an increase in student's struggling to stay focused. This project will help my students get some snacks to help them focus, learn successfully, and keep their energy up before and after gym class.
Students are more open to learning when they have a full belly.
It is always necessary to have a snack available for students. I want my students to know that they can always pass by my office to pick up a snack throughout the day. In addition to just being hungry we have student that are seriously affected by food insecurity.
