My students need STEM items to go in our new STEM center!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Lede's classroom raised $505
This project is fully funded
My Students
African American, Hispanic, Asian, Middle Eastern, Caucasian... The wonderful melting pot of my Kindergarten class. My students are energetic, funny, inquisitive, and strong. They are so excited!
Our school includes low-income students, with 100% of them receiving free lunch.
They come from homes with wonderful parental involvement but minimal resources.
My students are very eager to learn new things. I want to be able to afford them different opportunities to learn many new things by using different materials and different avenues.
My Project
Our school became a STEM Magnet Elementary Program based in Creative Sciences and Arts this school year! I am excited to bring this new program to my kindergartners! I am designating an area in my classroom for all things STEM! In these area, I would like to have squishy circuits, a construction toolkit, and other items related to the STEM program.
The classroom must be a place to explore and engineer. These child friendly tools and screws will help students to learn the basics in taking things apart and putting them together in multiple ways. When working on their projects, students can create things with their own hands using planning, problem solving, and evaluating outcomes.
The more children practice these skills, the more secure they will feel when applying them during other STEM experiences!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
