My Project

STEAM learning in kindergarten and first grade is crucial for laying a strong foundation in science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. Early exposure to STEAM concepts help develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity in young learners. It also fosters a curiosity for exploration and discovery, setting the stage for future academic success and career opportunities in STEM fields. By integrating STEAM education at an early age, students are better equipped to adapt to the rapidly evolving technological landscape, and contribute to innovation and progress in society. This funding will support STEAM learning in kindergarten and first grade and can significantly impact the educational outcomes of students and help prepare them for future endeavors.

By donating to this project, every student in our elementary building will have the opportunity to have hands-on exploration of science, technology, engineering, art, and math materials.

The materials I have selected will support student learning by giving them opportunities to code using technology, build using various materials, explore the world around them and instill a love of learning!
