My Project

I am over-the-moon excited to be teaching a 4th grade center-based gifted class in the fall. I hope to challenge students to extend their thinking, explore multiple answers for every situation, and collaborate in learning. My cart is full of so many wonderful STEM/STEAM supplies for the students to enjoy using.

Legos, playdoh, and arts and crafts should be a part of every child's daily learning experience.

I want to provide opportunities for my students to move past the computer or worksheets and work together to learn. Through Project-Based Learning, I hope to keep my students' brains stimulated and have my students fully engaged in learning daily.

Additionally, I try to make sure every student has an opportunity to shine light on themselves, highlighting strengths and passions. My students will use Genius Hour and Student of the Week celebrations to show how special each of them is and allow them to be pilots of their own learning.
