My Students

My class is a group of super energetic five and six year olds who love learning! They love to prove what they know in math and are so eager to improve their reading skills! We are a Title I school in Missouri where a large percentage of the children come from very low income households and receive breakfast and lunch here at school. The parents of my students care deeply for their children and do all they can to provide for them.

Like any teacher, I want the best for my students and will do all I can to ensure that they learn to their fullest potential.

Kindergarten aged students are such a joy to teach. They truly are little sponges and soak up so much information. Knowing that some of my students' families have difficulties to overcome makes me want to try to compensate wherever possible in order to help them be as successful in learning as they can be.

My Project

I am greatly impressed with how bright my students are and how eagerly they delve into new curriculum and learning activities! My resources for S.T.E.A.M. activities is very limited and I want to provide more for them.

The visualization, planning and critical thinking skills involved in using the Gifts2U Marble Run, Magnetic Building Sticks, NVHH Magnetic Tiles and PlayDoh are the precise skills I want to enhance as they journey through Kindergarten!

In addition, the children will be developing spatial awareness, geometry and fine motor skills.

So much can be achieved with the correct learning tools. With your assistance, my students will be afforded the educational benefits they deserve.
