My Students

In my class, we are always working on becoming lifelong learners who are excited about knowledge! We are the youngest learners at an incredibly diverse school. We come from many different backgrounds and speak so many different languages! We may be 4 years old, but our future is already so bright!

My students are coming back to school for the very first time.

They are so eager to learn and engage with their peers! The best part of working with my students is that they all accept and love each other regardless of all their differences.

My Project

Wait a minute--what is STEAM? STEAM refers to Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Young children need opportunities to engage in hands-on experiences to build vocabulary, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and reflection. This project will do just that!

My students need hands-on opportunities to become scientists, artists, and mathematicians!

Engineering kits to build homes, bridges, and vehicles will challenge students to think creatively and tie into our units of study. An arts supply center will allow them to show off their artistry skills. Lastly, timers and math manipulatives will help them concretely understand key math concepts in fun and playful ways!
