My students need supplies to create STEAM activities in our classroom. These activities explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math. All of these craft and building supplies will help to create wider options for student projects.
My students come to our classroom craving the opportunity to learn and grow as students and as tiny humans in general. These students come from many different walks of life and want nothing more than to leave their mark on this world.
These tiny humans love hands on activities and working together to problem solve in the classroom.
They are creative and talented individuals that work hard to overcome the world and make it their own. These students have a love of the classroom and a desire to change the world.
My Project
For our STEAM bins we are asking for various craft and engineering supplies. We need everyday items such as straws and aluminum foil as well as bigger items such as building blocks.
These seemingly random items are used to make our students problem solve and think outside the box to create a solution to an engineering challenge and build something great.
We are also in need of smaller items like rubber bands, ziploc bags, craft sticks, yarn, and bottle caps. These are the parts of the STEAM kits that will help keep the other pieces together. So while they may seem random or simple, they are actually the glue that holds the kits together so to speak. Each of these different items will help with multiple STEAM challenges and create an incredible hands on experience in my classroom.
