My Students

My PreK students are inquisitive, active learners. We love to ask questions, do research, and explore topics of their choosing. My lesson plans revolve around their minds! I write down questions on our “I Wonder” board and visit these topics.

My Project

My students are encouraged to express what they want to learn about. We explore topics of their choosing, and my lesson plans are written around their interests. I have found preschoolers are budding scientists and need the tools to test their questions and predictions.

The the activity ramp, simple machines, water droppers and test tubes I have chosen will give my students opportunities to learn by doing: testing predictions, learning about physics, chemical changes, and simple machines.

My hope is expand their learning by creating a STEAM environment for hands-on exploration and learning. Your donations will help provide my preschoolers a science-rich classroom!
