My Project

Hi there! My 9th -12th graders and my 18+ students need your help!

"Communication is the essence of human life." -Janice Light

I serve high schoolers with articulation disorders, expressive and receptive language impairments, social communication disorders, stuttering and other fluency disorders, voice disorders, and cognitive-communication deficits. Some of my students are nonverbal/nonspeaking and use devices to help them communicate their wants and needs.

It is very challenging to find speech therapy materials for adolescents and young adults, as the vast majority of products on the market cater towards younger students, and I often spend hours making my own materials to close the gap.

These items would be very helpful in targeting our communication goals in speech therapy, whether that is saying that pesky R sound correctly with the tongue model, making social inferences with the picture scenarios, or describing and retelling an event using the story cubes!
