Help me give my students the chance to read online from the comfort of their home fiction and non-fiction articles and stories during full remote learning.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This is the year of uncharted territories for all teachers. For me, this new adventure brings my 4/5th graders and I to a Full Remote Learning setting. The learning styles differ from one student to the other. But one thing is clear they all want to make the best of this situation and learn as much as they can. That is why it is my goal to do everything possible so they can be academically successful.
My Project
Being full remote means that my students need to have access to everything online. Due to the amount of time that students are allowed to be online science, a subject students love is not provided as much. Their choice of reading comes from online programs, which don't provide an interesting variety of books.
That is why these two magazines will open up the wonderful world of science and different genres to them from the comfort of their own home.
SuperScience will give them that knowledge background they so desperately seek, while Storyworks will provide wonderful stories in which they can learn the many genres of literature!
