My Project

My incredible students in grades K/1/2 all carry a diagnosis of Autism and many come from low-income households. Nearly all my students are also English Language Learners.

Many of my students struggle with being extremely picky eaters so it is important to have a variety of snack options in the classroom.

My students particularly enjoy goldfish crackers, rice krispie treats, popcorn, fruit snacks, and for a special treat Swedish fish. These snacks are foods that are healthier than chips and a good alternative for when hunger strikes. It is very hard to concentrate on learning when your tummy is grumbling.
