My Project
My incredible students in grades Kindergarten through second all carry a diagnosis of Autism. Many come from low income households and are English Language Learners.
My students often come to school hungry, but not just for learning. They have many food sensitivities. I like to keep a variety of snacks that they can choose from for when they feel hungry. Favorites have been goldfish and cheez it crackers, nutrigrain bars, Poptart pastries, and cookies. I also like to keep some special treats like M&Ms, Hershey kisses and gummies to reward their progress.
It is so hard to focus when you’re hungry. Please consider supporting my classroom and these amazing students.
