Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I provide intervention services to 22 students on a daily basis. They are aware of their challenges and work hard to excel in their reading skills. I like to have snacks and prizes available as a way to motivate them. Some of these students stay after school until 6pm and could use a snack during their time in my classroom. When my students are not focusing on their hunger, they are able to focus on their learning and focus on completing their work.

For some of our students, school meals provide most of their nutrition throughout the day.

Some students will often ask me for a snack to take with them to recess break. I would like to be able to give them a small treat to enjoy during their breaks or to take home for later. The wipes will be used to help clean up after they are done eating their snacks.
