My Students

My students are four-year-olds from low-income families and will be going to kindergarten next year. Many of them are from single-parent households and do not have a working parent, and many have siblings. Many of them live in apartments and do not get much time outside. They travel to our school on a bus. They spend their day with us and eat breakfast, lunch, and snacks at school. They love to be hugged and appreciated. They love school. They love to learn. I try to give them the best education I can with learning, laughter, and lots of love.

My Project

The items of food will be sent home with the children to keep their bellies full when not at school. The cereal will be a great way for them to start their days since they are not at school where they usually eat breakfast.

Macaroni and Cheese is one of their favorite foods and apple juice is their favorite drink.

By sending these items home with the kids it will insure that they have a great breakfast and a lunch of their favorite foods and drinks. They also will be able to have a fulfilling snack.
