My students come to school each day eager to learn, explore, and grow. They are kind, resilient, and incredibly curious, bringing unique backgrounds, talents, and experiences into our classrooms. As a language immersion public charter school, our students work hard every day to develop academically while learning in Spanish, German, and Mandarin Chinese. They inspire us with their determination and love of learning.
For many of our students, a healthy snack can make the difference between staying focused and struggling through the afternoon.
When children are hungry, it becomes much harder to concentrate, participate in lessons, solve problems, and do their best work. Having nutritious snacks available allows us to meet their basic needs so they can focus on what matters most—learning.
The snacks and supplies from this project will provide quick, healthy options for students who may have missed breakfast, forgotten a snack, or simply need extra fuel to make it through the school day. These resources will help create a welcoming classroom where every child feels cared for, supported, and ready to succeed.
