My Project

I am a firm believer that if a child's basic needs are not being met, they are unable to learn. From teaching at a high-poverty, Title One school, it is often up to me and generous donors to ensure that my students' needs are being met. We are running low on snacks and tissues in my classroom and during cold/flu season, that's extra rough. More than 3/4 of my students do not bring a snack each day, so if I do not have one to provide, then they will not eat a snack. Thank you for your consideration.
