it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Inspiring students to read is one of my great joys as a teacher! The best way to get students inspired to read is Japanese Manga. It is something that they love on their own but it is difficult for them to purchase because of the price. With your help, students can own their own copies of some of their favorite Manga.
Fuel the reading fire of our students with Japanese Manga!
As the advisor of the Manga club, students come to me for recommendations and just to chat about manga with other students. Help support our students in building community. Often manga is a great way to bridge the gap with my students as I try to get classics from the 90s and current day books. Thank you for feeding the fire!
