Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students often come to school hungry and these items will help to fuel their brains. Some can also serve as rewards for engagement and participation.
Food is one of the most important resources that my students need to learn.
Without it, their brains do not retain new material. They also get extremely tired when they do not eat. Supplying them with the needed food raises their spirits, learning, and mathematical abilities. Please help me to best support their learning by providing the food they need to be able to go throughout the school day without suffering from hunger.
