Fueling the Future With a Classroom Economy

Help me give my students a Logitech Crayon, AFMAT pencil sharpeners, Eluck MOPTopper Stylus Pens, UNEEDE Pig Night Light, and Oikss Paper Bags so they will have materials needed for our classroom economy.

FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Webster's classroom raised $280

My Project

By introducing my students to financial literacy concepts such as budgeting, saving, and spending, students can gain practical experience in managing money. They can also learn the importance of making responsible financial decisions and being accountable for their actions well into adulthood. Unfortunately, materials for building a classroom economy are rather expensive. My students need a few materials to start our class economy. The first item is the UNEEDE Cute Pig Night Light for Kids. When turned on, this light will signal when our school store is open for business. My students will have store hours just like a real business. They will also be hired to restock the supplies and work a cash register. My students will even have Oikss 50 Sacks to sack their purchases. Not only will my students learn financial literacy with these supplies, but they will learn a trade. They will learn how to count out money and how to count change back to their customers.

My students need the Eluck MOP Topper Pen Screen Cleaner Pens to teach them how to save money.

During our school store, they will be able to purchase these to use on their Chromebooks. Our Chromebooks can be folded over to become a tablet. The AFMAT pencil sharpeners are needed for another job. My students will be paid to sharpen each other's pencils using these. Then, they can save that money to spend in our school store. The last thing my students will need is the Logitech Crayon. They will be able to design graphics to make shirts, totes, backpacks, etc. to sell in our school store. My students will learn how much materials cost and figure out how much they need to sell their products to make a profit.
