This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are energetic, kind and enthusiastic fourth graders. I love that they always have a positive attitude. Majority of my students come from low-income household’s. Students have been adapting to fourth grade well, but one challenge they have faced is having a late lunch time. Our class doesn’t go to lunch until 12:35pm, which causes many students to go hungry throughout the day.

These donations will fuel my students and help them focus on their learning!

These donations will be available to students to snack on during recess time. These snacks will ensure all students have access to a snack to help get them through the day.

My goal for this project is to help keep my students energized and engaged during the school day. This starts with ensuring they have access to tasty snacks.
