it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Through various grants, we have secured funding to take our 8th grade Peer Advocates on an all-day field trip to a ropes course in San Francisco.
We’re excited for this opportunity to strengthen our relationships while honing key skills like communication, trust, goal-setting, problem-solving, and taking risks.
These abilities are crucial in our role as Peer Advocates, and this experience will benefit us both individually and as a team when supporting others on campus. The bags, snacks, and drinks will help keep us nourished and hydrated as we embark on this unforgettable adventure!
