How items make a difference in learning?

The specific items we are requesting, including healthy snacks and mini prizes, play a crucial role in positively impacting our students' learning experiences.

By providing nutritious snacks, we address immediate needs related to hunger, ensuring that our students are physically prepared and focused during (FRENCH) class and club activities (Black Student Union and Global Minds Initiative). Proper nutrition is linked to improved cognitive function, attention, and overall academic performance.

Furthermore, the inclusion of mini prizes adds an element of motivation and reward. It creates an environment where students are not only nourished but also recognized for their efforts and achievements. This positive reinforcement encourages active participation, engagement, and a sense of accomplishment, fostering a conducive atmosphere for effective learning. And to be honest, it helps allure kids to check out the clubs.

Goals for this project?

The primary goals of this project are to enhance the overall well-being and engagement of our diverse student body. Through the provision of healthy snacks, we aim to address immediate nutritional needs, ensuring that hunger is not a barrier to learning. By incorporating mini prizes, our goal is to create a positive and motivating atmosphere that encourages students to actively participate in class and extracurricular activities.

Additionally, we aim to foster a sense of community and inclusivity. Recognizing the diverse needs of our students, this project seeks to celebrate their individuality while creating a shared experience that contributes to a supportive learning environment.
