My Project
This project aims to provide my students with essential tools to enhance their learning experience and personal growth. The desk chair for my student assistant will allow them to perform leadership tasks comfortably, supporting the classroom's daily operations while developing responsibility and organizational skills. The two-fold project boards will enable students to create meaningful presentations on key topics like civics, African American history, and contemporary world issues, allowing them to visually express their understanding and creativity. The bookshelf and carefully curated books related to course content and life skills will establish a classroom library, fostering a love for reading, research, and critical thinking. Together, these materials will create a more organized, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
My goal for this project is to empower my students not only academically but also personally, by giving them access to resources that encourage independent learning, leadership, and hands-on project work.
My students are special because they come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique perspectives into the classroom, which is essential when discussing topics like history, citizenship, and current global challenges. They are passionate learners who thrive on interactive and meaningful educational experiences. With the right tools, I believe they can reach new heights, turning their curiosity into knowledge and their ideas into action.
