Help me give my students art books that are filled with vibrant images, fascinating stories, and inventive ideas that can spark the imagination of young minds.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Please help us fuel our creative PreK artists' minds with access to books about art. Materials aside, children come to us with natural curiosity and creativity. As their main supporter in the classroom, I would like to encourage them to embark on a journey of discovery, imagination and new understanding of the arts.
Diving into books about art that are filled with vibrant images, fascinating stories, and inventive ideas will spark the imagination of these young minds.
Through these books, children can explore a diverse range of artistic styles, cultures, and perspectives, broadening their understanding of the world around them.
I cannot wait to see my students blossom, as art is interconnected with various subjects including history, science, math, and literature. Reading about art can provide opportunities for interdisciplinary learning, allowing children to make connections between different areas of knowledge and foster a holistic understanding of the world.
