This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This year, my students are launching a middle school e-sports gaming club, aimed at providing a dynamic space for skill development, teamwork, and camaraderie. My middle school students are at a stage where their interests and passions are evolving rapidly. Introducing e-sports into our extracurricular offerings aligns with their interests and provides a platform for developing strategic thinking, leadership, and collaboration. To turn this vision into reality, we are seeking generous donations for a VR headset that will allow them to compete against other middle schools.
By providing access to this headset I aim to create an immersive and engaging environment that fosters teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
