My Project
I have two students who need very intensive support in developing leadership skills and require individual schedules with several brain breaks incorporated, as well as rewards for every hour. I have created rewards and an incentive chart for my 2 students to get small rewards throughout the day and a snack at the end of the day for appropriate behavior. Not only would these snacks be beneficial for them, but they will also be beneficial for my other students who very rarely bring snacks from home to have during the day. My students, my intervention students, love Takis. We all know this may not be the healthiest option, however, these make their little eyes light up and beg for me to buy some for them. These snacks would help so much in creating a positive environment where every child feels valued and equity and equality are taking place. This would help them through the day because they can look forward to snack time and also feel the love and nurture of their needs and wants.
