This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are an incredible group of resilient and determined individuals who come to school every day eager to learn, despite the challenges they face. They are bright, curious, and capable of achieving greatness, and I strive to create an environment where they feel supported and motivated.
The snacks I am requesting, like Takis and Cheetos, will provide an after-school incentive that keeps them engaged in learning activities.
Many students stay late for extra help or enrichment, and a small snack can make a big difference in their energy and focus. These treats will also foster a sense of community and belonging, making our after-school sessions a place they look forward to attending.
My goal is to remove barriers to learning and create a positive atmosphere that encourages attendance and participation. My students are special because of their determination, creativity, and potential, which I aim to nurture every day.
