Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we near the end of the school year, my dual language fourth graders are working hard to finish strong. With final projects, reviews, and school events happening all at once, many students are showing signs of fatigue and hunger by the afternoon. I want to give them a little extra support through this project by providing snacks that help boost energy, focus, and motivation.

I'm requesting Rice Krispies Treats, Black Forest Juicy Burst Fruit Gummies, and Wise Grab & Snack Variety Pack chips.

These snacks will be offered during our review sessions and independent work times to keep students focused and avoid midday hunger distractions. A small snack can go a long way in helping students stay positive, alert, and ready to learn.

My goal is to end the year on a high note—where students not only meet their academic goals but also feel appreciated and cared for. Many of my students come from hardworking families, and snacks like these are a small but meaningful way to bring comfort and joy into the classroom.

These students are special because they show up with big hearts and eager minds every day. This project is one way I can support their perseverance and celebrate their growth.
