Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
With the school break quickly approaching, there's a pressing urgency to motivate students to catch up on their studies and surpass their current academic standing, making these resources essential for their success.
Providing nutritious snacks ensures that my students have the energy they need to stay focused and engaged throughout the day.
According to research hunger can be a distraction and can hinder students' ability to concentrate on their work. By offering snacks, we ensure that students have the fuel they need to learn effectively.
Headphones, on the other hand will provide my students the ability to control their auditory environment, which is crucial for concentration, especially in a classroom setting with various activities and noise levels. Whether they're listening to educational videos, audio resources, or simply blocking out distractions, headphones can help my students stay focused and immersed in their learning tasks.
Moreover, not all students have access to these resources at home. By providing them in the classroom, we aim to level the playing field and ensure that all students have an equal opportunity to learn and succeed.
