My Project
My 5th graders are energetic, curious, and empathetic, bringing joy and laughter to our classroom. I love their infectious enthusiasm and willingness to try new things. This project is about creating a positive reinforcement system – a classroom snack store – to acknowledge their efforts and encourage positive choices. It's more than just treats; it's a way to celebrate their hard work and good behavior. I'm requesting healthy snack options like granola bars and fruit snacks. These will motivate positive behavior, improve focus, reinforce positive habits, and create a stronger sense of community.
My main goal is to cultivate a supportive classroom where students are motivated to learn and grow.
I hope to increase positive behavior, improve engagement, foster belonging, and help students develop self-regulation skills. My students are special because of their unique personalities, talents, and support for one another. They are creative, resilient, and a constant inspiration. They deserve a learning environment where they feel valued and motivated, and this snack store will be a small but meaningful step towards that goal.
