Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year, 660 10th graders will participate in our annual Career Research Project, where they’ll work in groups to explore career clusters, create presentations, and showcase their findings at a grade-level expo. It’s an incredible opportunity for them to collaborate, peer-review each other’s work, and develop real-world skills like research, public speaking, and teamwork.
The Career Research Project is a highlight of the year, and the items I’m requesting—snacks, fidget toys, and ribbons—will reward top presentations and motivate students to put their best effort into this project.
The markers will help them create visually engaging posters and materials for their expo displays. These resources will not only make the expo more exciting but also encourage students to take pride in their work and celebrate their achievements.
My goal is to provide a memorable and enriching experience that prepares students for their futures while fostering collaboration and creativity. What makes my students special is their enthusiasm and ability to support one another. They thrive when given the chance to work together, share ideas, and learn from their peers. This project is a highlight of their 10th-grade year, and your support will help make it unforgettable!
